Unfolding & Unfurling

‘Unfolding’ and ‘Unfurling’, Two stainless steel sculptures manufactured for Max Patte as part of his ‘Colours of Home’ exhibition. Both of these works were made from a series of perfectly joined stainless streel triangular facets. The British born artist was inspired for these works by the colours and shapes of the spring Almond Blossom in his new home of Mallorca, Spain. The larger ‘Unfolding’ sculptured was mirror polished and finished in translucent dye with the smaller ‘Unfurling’ sculpture finished in opaque automotive paint.
